How does the AI photo checking work?
Our AI analyzes your photo for background compliance, face positioning, size ratios, lighting quality, and other official requirements. It then automatically formats your photo to meet the exact specifications for your selected country and document type.
What photo formats are supported?
PhotoID supports JPEG, PNG, and HEIC formats from both camera and photo gallery. We recommend using high-resolution photos for the best results.
Which countries' ID requirements are supported?
We support passport and ID photo requirements for over 150 countries, including US, UK, Canada, Australia, and EU countries.
How long are my photos stored?
Your photos are temporarily stored in two places: on OpenAI's servers for up to 30 days for AI processing (according to OpenAI's data retention policy), and locally on your device for app functionality. Analyzed photo previews are stored locally until you download or delete them.
How does the subscription work?
PhotoID offers weekly and annual subscription plans. You can use the app to process photos and preview results for free, but a subscription is required to download the final photos. Subscriptions auto-renew and can be managed through your App Store account settings.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, we offer a 15-day satisfaction guarantee. Refunds are processed through Apple's App Store according to their standard policy. Contact our support team for assistance with refund requests.
How do I delete my account and data?
PhotoID doesn't store any personal data on our servers. All your photos and preferences are stored locally on your device using local storage. To clear your data, simply delete the app from your device or clear the app's data in your device settings.
